Thank you all who prayed for the Writer´s Workshop. There was a really good turn out (around thirty people). The Director of Extremadura´s largest newspaper, El Periódico de Extremadura, shared about how to be a good journalist. Basically, his points were to keep it short and to get straight to the point(I´m definitely not there yet; I really like writing run-on sentences!). There was a really good discussion time as well where people were able to ask about how stories get chosen over others, why evangelicals get little press, and they were also able to share some of their frustrations. It was great because the director received feedback from a sector of society that he would usually not hear from. He was also able to hear more about what evangelicals believe and about the message that they want to get across to the population as a whole.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know about some of the events I will be taking part in during the next couple of weeks.

Nov. 19- Writer’s Workshop at Luz de Vida. The editor of Extremadura´s largest newspaper: El Periódico de Extremadura, will be teaching the writers of evangelical writers how to write better articles and communicate their message more clearly.

Dec. 5- Evangelical History Trip
A local historian will be guiding us on a tour recounting the history of evangelicals in Extremadura. Pray that it would be a great time of fellowship, but also an opportunity to share our faith with others.
